Talk synopsis: An introduction to PHP 5.2 (which should be out by the conference); a brief look at the cool new things offered in this release and why everyone should upgrade to it as soon as they can. The bulk of the talk however, will focus on the migration challenges that this release presents when it comes to upgrading from earlier versions of PHP 4 and 5, and how to overcome some of those problems.

All I want to know is who I have to sleep with in order for 5.2 not to break all my apps.

It looks like they've already started breaking a couple of projects in favor of being able to improve the Zend framework.

How long before they write all competing projects out of existence??
