Welcome to the php|works/db|works 2006 Conference home page!
This year's conferences will take place, as usual, in Toronto, Canada, from September 13th to 15th, 2006, with in-depth seminars on September 12th at the Holiday Inn Yorkdale hotel.
For the first time this year, php|works will run concurrently with db|works, a three-day conference dedicated to databases (open-source and commercial) and their application to Web development.
The theme for this year's conference is "Lighter. Faster. More Powerful." Today's applications must be able to rapidly scale to support increasingly more complex requirements and features; php|works and db|works explore how PHP and database technologies are evolving to meet these requirements.
