This page contains a series of answers to some of the most common questions we get about A/R/T. Why A/R/T? I thought you only published articles in your magazines!A/R/T is, in a way, the perfect companion to php|architect magazine. Over the years, we have endeavoured to make php|architect a reference point for the PHP community, on which professionals and enthusiasts alike could depend for information that is up-to-date and topic coverage of a depth that is simply not available anywhere else.
With A/R/T, our goal is to take the same concept of depth and breadth of coverage to the web, providing our readers with articles that are well-written, well-edited and well-organized. Where does the name come from? All the components of our website's service-oriented architecture are named after Greek and Roman mythological names, and the service that provides access to the online article repository is no exception—it is named after Artemis, the Greek goddess of the hunt, wild animals and wilderness. A/R/T is simply a short form of Artemis.
Can I contribute to A/R/T?Of course! We are always looking for new authors and new article and book ideas for all our properties. Just check out our Author Guide pages for more information.
